Is there a God? Who makes these decisions?

The Australian cricketer and team captain, Michael Clarke is a great player but why captain? It feels a bit like Brian Lara. He was also an amazing batsman, fieldsman and cricketer but he just wasn’t captain material. It’s easy to miss the fact that a captain has virtues that don’t necessarily relate to brilliance in other areas of cricket. Clive Llyod the West Indian cricketer had the classic captain’s temperament. Is there a god in Cricket Australia who can undo this or are we doomed to or a prolonged period of mediocrity before it all becomes painfully obvious?

The worst thing about this captaincy mistake is that Michael Clarke is a fair captain, maybe even bordering on a good captain but he just does not look a chance of being a great captain. Is there a god to sort this out through the layers of political bureaucracy at Cricket Australia?
